What is Acremonium Mold?

Acremonium mold is a microscopic organism that can cause a wide range of health problems. Commonly known as a black mold, it is known to produce toxic spores that are released into the air when it is growing. What Does Acremonium Mold Look Like?

Is Acremonium Mold Dangerous?

This organism is not harmful to adults; however, it can be dangerous to young children, pets, the elderly, and immunosuppressed individuals. When larger amounts of this fine powdery substance are inhaled, it often results in nausea, vomiting, asthma, and bronchitis. Contact with this substance can also cause allergic reactions and asthma attacks in some individuals.

Can You Control Acremonium Mold With Antifungal Drugs?

Although mold produce mycotoxins, medicines will not cure the infection.
