The rest of the land was donated to the city as a gift for the citizens of Euless. Construction began in the fall of 2005 and is currently a popular spot for Euless residents.

The city of Euless has a history dating back to the 19th century. The town was just 25 people in 1915 but has grown to more than 54,000 today. The city has tried to preserve its historical significance while maintaining modern amenities. The Fuller House is a brick home from the 1850s, the Himes Log House is a log cabin from the 1850s, and the historic McCormick Barn is built from lumber from Camp Bowie after World War I.
