The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame was originally located in Hereford, Texas, but later moved to Fort Worth. It now occupies a 33,000-square-foot space in the Will Rogers Memorial Complex. It shares its Cultural District with the Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Kimbell Art, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Inductees of the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame will be honored during the 45th Annual Induction Luncheon and Ceremony on April 27, 2021. In addition to the museum, the incoming Hall of Fame class includes country music superstar Pop Chalee, world champion breakaway roper Lari Dee Guy, and internationally acclaimed artist Kathryn Kusner. Miranda Lambert will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The Women’s History Museum in Fort Worth features art by the great artists Remington and Russell. While the museum is free to visit, it is currently closed for renovations and will not be open to the public from June 3 to August 2019.
